Pilgrimage Past to Present: El Camino de Santiago.

This book seeks to convey the transformational excitement of discovery experienced by the students as they traveled the full length of the Camino: the hikes in the Pyrenees, the exploration of medieval cathedrals and monasteries, the interviews with fellow pilgrims, and six days of walking from Sarria to Santiago. In short, to capture the joys and challenges of pilgrimage. As one student put it after the last day of walking, “Today was long, miserable, and difficult. I’ve never been happier.”
